JITO Belagavi Empowers 53 Students from the Jain Community at the 13th Shanky Scholarship Program

JITO Belagavi successfully hosted the 13th JITO Shanky Scholarship Program at the JITO Belagavi Manoj Sancheti Office, on 22nd June, 2026. During the ceremony, 53 meritorious students from the Jain community, who recently cleared their SSLC (2026 batch), were recognized and awarded scholarship cheques to support their ongoing academic journeys.

This impactful initiative, established thirteen years ago with the foundational support of title donor Shri Shantilal Porwal and his family, has grown significantly over the years through the generous contributions of numerous donors.

The event commenced auspiciously with the chanting of the Navakar Maha Mantra and the traditional lighting of the lamp. Vice Chairman Pramod Patil delivered the welcome address, extending warm greetings to the Chief Guest, students, parents, and attendees. Following this, Event Convener Ankit Khoda outlined the program's core objectives and vision and purpose of this event.

Chief Guest and Title Donor, Shri Shantilal Porwal, Director, Shanti Foumach Pvt. Ltd., addressed the gathering, inspiring the students to pursue educational excellence. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline in all aspects of life to achieve greater heights. Shri Porwal also commended the JITO Belagavi team for their extraordinary contributions to the field of education, expressing his deep gratitude for the opportunity to be associated with JITO and this noble scholarship scheme.

Chief Secretary Abhay Adimani briefed the students on various education and career-focused initiatives by JITO, including the JEAP, JATF, and Jobs verticals. Additionally, Shri Pushpak Hanammannavar, Director In Charge Minority, JITO Apex, provided crucial insights into the minority benefits available from the Govt. Schemes to students for higher education and highlighted the JITO Matrimony vertical. The event was gracefully anchored by Master of Ceremonies Amit Doshi.

The program drew to a close with vote of thanks proposed by Chief Secretary Abhay Adimani. He expressed sincere gratitude to all the donors, the Chief Guest, Event Convenor Ankit Khoda, JEAP Convenor Vijay Patil, and the dedicated JITO Belagavi members whose efforts made the event a resounding success.

The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a group photograph to commemorate the memorable day.
