JITO Bangalore South Chapter Foundation organised the inaugural Veterans Cricket Championship on 7–8 March 2026 for players aged 40 and above. The tournament began with the Navkar Mahamantra and featured 120 players across 8 teams: Multishrink Warriors, Skyhigh Ad Agency & Entertainment, Ahore Warriors, VR Lions, Shri Shankheshwar Sports Academy, Dream Crushers XI, Symbiosis Challengers, and Jiani Strikers. Main Sponsor - Shri Mukesh Punmiya, Who Moved My Protein; Jersey Sponsor - Shri Rajendra Kothari, Hitank; Kit Bag Sponsor - Shri Sushil Dinesh Sonegara, Kaveri Tanks.

The League stage matches were held at Bell Ground on 7 March with 12 league matches. VR Lions, Shri Shankheshwar Sports Academy, Jiani Strikers, and Symbiosis Challengers advanced to the semi-finals.

The Knockouts matches were played on 8 March at National College Ground, Basavanagudi, Symbiosis Challengers beat Jiani Strikers in semi-final 1. Chetan R. Jain won Man of the Match. VR Lions defeated Shri Shankheshwar Sports Academy in semi-final 2.

VR Lions, led by Shri Vimalesh Bhandari and Shri Rishi Bafna, clinched the title against Symbiosis Challengers, led by Shri Chetan Ladhani and Shri Deepak Chandaliya. Shri Mahaveer Bohra was adjudged Man of the Match.

Over 1,000 members attended across both days. Shri Ranjeet Solanki, Chairman, Shri Nitin Lunia, Chief Secretary, Sports Convener Shri Chetan Bohra, and Co-convener Shri Shreyans Rakhecha played key roles in organizing the event successfully. The Sports Committee members, including Shri Raunak Gulecha and Shri Narendra Sanklecha, also contributed significantly.
