Yoga & Laughter = Happy Factor

JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore North organised “Yoga and Laughter – Happy Factor” workshop on Yoga Day

 

On the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day, the Ladies Wing of JITO Chapter Bangalore North successfully organised “Yoga and Laughter = Happy Factor” workshop at JATF Baldota Girls Hostel, JC Road, under the leadership of President Smt. Laxmi Bafna.

 

The main trainer of this workshop was Smt. Jigana Kapasi, Certified Yoga Therapist and Certified Marma Yoga (France). She underlined the importance of yoga and said that yoga is a spiritual process through which body and soul are coordinated. Including yoga in one’s daily routine is beneficial for every person as it improves overall fitness, reduces stress and provides mental peace. She also got the participants to practice various yoga asanas and meditation along with Navkar Mantra and prayers.

 

JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore Founder Chairperson and Mentor Mrs. Nisha Samar while extending her best wishes on International Yoga Day said that Yoga is an ancient gift of India, which has today gained global recognition due to its physical, mental and spiritual benefits.

 

The program started with Navkar Mantra. President Smt. Laxmi Bafna welcomed the guests and all the members and said that health is a precious gift of God and a healthy person is not only confident but also sociable and energetic.

 

Program coordinator Smt. Sangeeta Nagori introduced the trainer Smt. Jigana Kapasi, while co-coordinator Smt. Mamta Banthia managed the entire arrangements smoothly. Girls hostel coordinator Smt. Chitra Mehta, vice president Smt. Suman Singhvi, co-minister Smt. Meena Badera and Smt. Suman Ranka, committee members Smt. Neeta Gadiya, Alka Lodha, Lekha Gandhi, Sangeeta Mutha, Neha Bhandari, Bindu Nahar, Nanda Bafna, Deepu Jain, Rinku Bafna and Neetu Mehta along with about 100 members were present in this workshop. General Secretary Smt. Raksha Chajjed conducted the program efficiently and expressed gratitude to everyone.
