JITO Ladies Wing Organises a Melodious Singing Program

 

Under the banner of JITO Bangalore North Chapter, JITO Ladies Wing organized a singing program as part of its skill development initiative. The event aimed to provide a platform for hidden talents within the community, helping them showcase and refine their musical skills. This program successfully brought forth exceptional singers, giving them an opportunity to perform on a larger stage.

 

The grand finale was held at the JITO office in Rajajinagar under the leadership of JITO Ladies Wing President, Smt. Lakshmi Bafna. A total of 10 selected participants from JITO North competed in the event. The judges shared invaluable insights to help participants improve their singing. Smt. Pinky Jain educated them on the depth of music, Smt. Nisha Samar emphasized the importance of regular practice, and Shri. Brijesh Ji highlighted the need to connect with the emotions of a song. The core objective of this event was to enhance every aspect of a singer’s performance and encourage them to excel.

 

The competition began online on January 6, with 75 participants. From these, the top 10 finalists were selected to perform at the grand finale. Kavita H secured the first position, Smt. Shefali Kothari was the runner-up, and Smt. Bijal M. Shah secured the third position.

 

The program commenced with the chanting of the Navkar Mantra. The event was hosted by Chief Secretary Smt. Raksha Chajjed, while Chairperson Smt. Lakshmi Bafna welcomed all attendees. Convenor Smt. Sadhna Dhokha and Co-convenor Smt. Neha Bhandari introduced the judges, while event management was handled by Sangeeta Nagori. More than 100 members attended, including JITO North Ladies Wing Mentor Smt. Reshma Punmiya, Vice President’s Smt. Suman Singhvi and Smt. Suman Ved Mutha, and Treasurer Smt. Tanuja Mehta. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Co-Secretary Smt. Meena Badera.

 

The success of the event was reflected with the guidance and inspiration from JITO Bangalore North Chapter Chairman Shri. Vimal Kataria and Chief Secretary Shri. Vijay Singhvi.
