1st Annual General Body Meeting

The 1st Annual General Body Meeting of the JITO Bangalore South Chapter Foundation was held on September 30, 2023, at the FKCCI auditorium, commencing at 5:30 PM. The meeting commenced with the recital of the Navkar Mantra, followed by the lighting of the lamp by distinguished dignitaries. Dinesh Bohra, Chairman of JITO Bangalore South Chapter, extended a warm welcome to the apex dignitaries, past and present apex directors, the KKG Zone Team, special invitees, and all the members present. He provided an overview of the various activities undertaken by the JITO Bangalore South Chapter, including those of the Ladies Wing and Youth Wing, in the past year. He expressed his gratitude to the Guidance Committee, Apex Directors, Past Chairmen, Managing Committee members, and all members for their unwavering support in making each project and event a resounding success in the past year. Chief Secretary Deepakk Srisrimal presented a comprehensive report covering all the projects, events, and activities conducted from October 2022 to August 2023 for the betterment of the organization, JITO members, and the Jain society at large. He highlighted new initiatives such as EDC, IPO, Career Counselling, and the Dubai Sister Chapter. Mr. Srisrimal also informed the members that a total of 178 events were organized by the Main Wing, Ladies Wing, and Youth Wing in the last year, resulting in a remarkable 33.5% growth in membership. Chairperson Sunitha Gandhi of JLW and Chairman Pinkesh Mehta of JYW also presented the events conducted by their respective wings, receiving enthusiastic applause from the attendees. Treasurer Ashok S Mehta and CA Akshay G Mehta presented the consolidated Financial Audited Report for the fiscal year 2022-2023 of JITO Bangalore South Chapter, along with a breakdown of expenses incurred for each project and event during this period. A Q & A session was conducted to address any queries. The financial audited report was unanimously approved and adopted. Akshay G Mehta, who was retiring by rotation, was appointed as a director to the Board, and M/s. P A Gandhi & Co was appointed as the companys auditors until the conclusion of the 6th AGM of the Company. Additionally, Ashok S Mehta was appointed as an Additional Director to the companys Board. On this occasion, six significant events, namely JBN Conclave, JIIF Unlock - 1.0 Round Table, National Youth Conclave, JITO Paksh, JITO Football & Frisbee, and the JITO Matrimony website, were launched with great enthusiasm by JITO dignitaries, office bearers, MC members, committee members, and company members. Tejraj Gulecha, Chairman of the Apex Guidance Committee, lauded and applauded the program events conducted by the chapter over the past year. He commended the presence of members at the AGM and urged each MC member to motivate others and bring 10 to 15 new members into the fold. Mahesh Nahar, past Chief Secretary of JITO Bangalore, called for more innovative programs to enhance the chapters reputation across pan India and among other JITO chapters. He commended the initiatives taken by the chapter and suggested organizing more business development events for chapter members to strengthen businesses, networking and bonds. Apex Director Hitesh Palrecha also addressed the gathering. Hitesh Palrecha congratulated the entire Managing committee on behalf of the JITO Apex Board for the incredible programs conducted in the past year. Apex director, Vinod Jain said that considering 178 individual programs delivered in the last year, JITO Bangalore South chapter has been conducting events on every 3rd day & congratulated the entire Managing Committee for the commendable efforts. Apart from the speakers, the AGM was graced by the presence of Prakashchad Singhvi past chairman of JITO Bangalore, Praveen Bafna, Vice Chairman of JITO KKG Zone, office bearers, managing committee members of the main wing, ladies wing, and youth wing, JBN & JPF leadership, as well as, Pramod Bhandari, Sanjay Dhariwal, Ramesh Ji Sankhla. Overall, event was attended by 101 members of the company.
