JITO Bangalore Chapter has organized the National Project of Minority on 27th September 2023 at KMDC Bangalore. Topic - Minority Awareness Seminar for all Jains.The seminar was organized by JLW Bangalore South and Bangalore North. Chairperson Sunita Gandhi warmly welcomed everyone and threw light on the minority. Chairperson of Bangalore North Bindu Raisoni conducted the entire proceedings. The program started with inspiration and women power by North Chapter Chairman Inder ji Bohra. Bangalore South Chairman Dinesh ji Bohra and JLW Convenor Sanjay G Bhandari encouraged all the women to pursue such projects.In the presence of dignitaries Shri Abdul Azim- Chairman, Karnataka State Minorities Commission and Government introduced the objectives of KMDC and Government schemes.KKG Zone Chairperson Ashokji Salecha, KKG Zone Chief Secretary Dilip Jain and KKG Minority Convener Kavita Porwal also appreciated the projects on minority which provided useful information to all the Jains. Shri Mohammed Nazir Ji – Managing Director, KMDC, Government of Karnataka introduced the objectives of KMDC and government schemes.The main objective of KMDC Corporation is to provide credit facilities to the most of the minorities so that they can become self-reliant and also to provide social justice, infrastructure, education and employment. In the plans for 2023-24, Shri Nazir ji gave information about the following plans: 1.Arivu Educational Loan Scheme 2.Ganga Kalyana Scheme. 3.Shramashakthi Scheme. 4.Vrutti prothsaha scheme. 5.Swalambi Sarathi Yojane. 6.Community Based Training Scheme. 7.Shramashakthi Special Scheme. 8.Overseas Education loan. These various schemes have been presented in the booklet in brief, so as to create awareness about the minority schemes. To know the actual entire process, JITO Apex, Minority Secretary Rajneesh Jain has guided the process step by step in Minority. JITO Apex, Minority Treasurer Bhavesh Shah helped to know that JITO is always standing to support the community. Former Chairperson Pramila Bhandari, Madhu Doshi, Anita Pirgal, Pinky Jain were present. The program was managed and implemented by JLW South Convenor Minorities – Lalitha Nagori and Co-Convenor Nisha Jiani. JLW North Convener Sangeeta Nagori. JLW North Chief Secretary Suman Vedmutha and committee members Neeta Gadiya, Sadhna Dhoka, Pushpa Jain, Shikha Tated, Kala Lunawat.JLW South Committee Chief Secretary Monica Pirgal and Vice Chairperson Prabha Gulecha, Joint Secretary Sangeeta Parakh, Committee members Indu Khivesara, Sakshi Jain, Rekha Jain, Asmita Chauhan, Taruna Mehta participated in the session. KKG Zones Minority Convener Kavita G Porwal presented the vote of thanks. In this session 150+ members participated.
