Awareness Program for UPSC & KAS Competative Exams

The JATF UPSC and JEAP Orientation Program held on 29th March, 2026 was a resounding success, marked by a highly productive session and an encouraging turnout of 110 participants, including 72 students and 20 parents representing various colleges and institutes across the Belagavi district. The event commenced with the spiritual recitation of the Navakar Mahamantra, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke auspicious beginnings. The gathering was formally addressed by Vice Chairman Vikram Jain, who shared his valuable insights, while Event Convenor Akash Patil provided a comprehensive overview of the day’s agenda and the significance of the initiative.

The core of the program focused on the vision and mission of JATF, with Ashok Nagori (Chairman, JATF KKG Zone) highlighting the organization’s dedication to guiding UPSC aspirants. This was followed by an inspiring talk from Praveen Bafna (Chairman, KKG Zone), who motivated students to consider a prestigious career in the civil services. To provide a practical roadmap, Mahesh Nahar (CS, JATF KKG Zone) delivered a detailed presentation covering JATF centers and the Common Entrance Test (CET). Adding significant weight to the session, Shri Jinendra Khanagavi (IPS, DIGP Prisons) shared his personal journey and offered deep professional insights into the UPSC and KAS exams, leaving both students and parents deeply motivated.

The technical aspects of the examination process were further clarified by Abhijeet Bhojannavar, who explained the CET exam structure and details regarding the Belagavi exam center. Furthermore, Vijay Patil presented on the Jain Education Academic Programme (JEAP), specifically detailing the availability of interest-free loans to support students in their academic pursuits. The orientation concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Abhay Adimani, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, marking the end of a truly impactful day for the youth of Belagavi.
