JITO Belagavi Sets a Record with Historic Celebration of Vishwa Navkar Maha Mantra Diwas

BELAGAVI, April 9, 2026

    Today marked a historic milestone for JITO (Jain International Trade Organization) as the second Vishwa Navkar Maha Mantra Diwas was celebrated globally. JITO Belagavi emerged as a national leader in this spiritual movement, achieving the highest registration in India with over 324,000 participants across 432 venues throughout the Belgaum district.

A Monumental Gathering at Millennium Garden, Tilakwadi, Belagavi
    The flagship event was held at Millennium Garden, Tilakwadi, where a massive congregation of over 4,200 devotees gathered to chant the Navkar Maha Mantra. The event was graced by the divine presence of Guru Bhagawant Shramani Gana Nayak Tarkik Shiromani Param Pujya Aacharya Abhayshekharsuriji Maharaj and his Sangh, who delivered a profound Ashirvachan (blessing) to the gathered assembly.

    The proceedings commenced with the ceremonial Deepa Prajwalana (lighting of the lamp) and a warm welcome address by Shri Harshavardhan Inchal, Chairman of JITO Belagavi, alongside Event Convenor Shri Praveen Samsukha.

Dignitaries and Global Connectivity
    The event saw participation from prominent leaders, including Hon. Shri Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi Dakshin, who spoke on the enduring relevance of Jain principles. Shri Sanjay Patil, Ex-MLA Belagavi Rural, and High Court Advocate Shri Raviraj Patil also addressed the gathering.

    In a feat of global synchronization, the Belagavi center was linked via two-way live streaming to the national event in New Delhi. The Hon. Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, served as the Chief Guest in Delhi, addressing the global community. In his address, he emphasized the power of the Navkar Maha Mantra in fostering world peace during current global crises and times of conflict.

A Unified Vision for Peace
    For 30 minutes, the atmosphere at Millennium Garden was transformed by a powerful spiritual aura as thousands chanted in unison for world peace. 

    The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Chief Secretary Shri Abhay Adimani, with Shri Vikram Jain serving as the Master of Ceremonies.

"This success belongs to the entire JITO Belgaum Pariwar," said Chairman Harshavardhan Inchal. "Achieving the highest participation in India is a testament to the dedication of our members, the support of our sponsors, and the unwavering faith of the Shravaks and Shravikas of Belagavi." He also recognised all the JITO Town Representative (JTR) effort in making this event a grand success with over 430 center registration across the Dist and chanting with more than 3 lakh pepople across dist.

    The celebration saw full attendance from JITO Belagavi members, the JITO Ladies Wing (JLW), and the JITO Youth Wing (JYW), receiving widespread acclaim from the city’s stalwarts.
