JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore South actively championed health awareness through its participation in the IIFL Drive with Purpose – National Car Rally, focused on spreading awareness about cancer and thalassemia on March 8th. Chairperson Smt. Babita Raysoni emphasized the importance of awareness, timely health check-ups, and preventive care.
The rally, flagged off from Town Hall on International Women’s Day, saw participation from around 60 cars and 50 two-wheelers (with 200 members), along with walk-in participants. Awareness messages in Kannada and English were displayed through banners and sunboards along the route up to Shankara Cancer and Research Centre, where expert sessions on prevention, early detection, and treatment were conducted.
The initiative was graced and appreciated by dignitaries including Shri Sripal Bachawat, Apex Secretary; Narendra Samar, Special Invitee Working Committee & Apex Director; Shri Dilip Jain, KKG Zone Chief Secretary; Shri Mahesh Nahar, JATF KKG Zone Chief Secretary; Smt.
