JITO Bangalore South under the JITO Incubation Innovation Foundation (JIIF) organised highly interactive session JIIF Sparks: Interactive Growth Dialogue held on 27th February at SpiceKlub, Jayanagar, was a resounding success. The event brought together over 85 members from the retail and D2C community for an evening of insightful discussions and networking.
The session began with the Navkar Mantra, followed by the lighting of the lamp by JITO dignitaries, sponsors, speakers and managing committee members. JITO Bangalore South Chief Secretary Shri Nitin Lunia welcomed participants, highlighting that "Retail and D2C businesses are the backbone of India's economy, and scaling them requires strategic growth and readiness to rise." He also briefed members about the upcoming events of JITO Bangalore South. JITO Bangalore South Chairman Shri Ranjeet Solanki wished the session huge session.
Shri Shaliesh Haran, Apex Director & Director-in-charge, JIIF, spoke about JIIF's initiatives, including the JITO Incubation Centre, JITO Angel Network, and JITO Shark Angels, which have supported over 50 startups in the last six years. Shri Vikas Gulecha, KKG Zone JIIF Convener, shared how JIIF handholds startups and mentors them for success, highlighting the advantages of becoming a JIIF member.
The panel discussion featured insights from Shri Mayank Nayak, Director India SEM Investment, on scaling businesses using the 4 pillars, Shri Neel Bafna, Founder of Banana Club, on expanding from one shop to multiple stores across India and Shri Kalpesh Gulechha, Co-founder of Kushals Fashion Jewellery, on challenges faced by retail stores.
Shri Dhiraj Bafna, Sponsor & Founder JNB - Your CFO Partner, highlighted how technology can drive business growth. The session included interactive elements, with participants deciding the agenda using Mentimeter, making the session more engaging and interactive amongst members and panelists.
A mock pitch was presented by Shri Ayush Surana, Founder, Adas Global Exports Pvt Ltd, showcasing their brand Milletto & Nutto, Clean, delicious ready-to-eat foods made from millets, foxnuts, and nutrient-rich ingredients.
