JITO Ladies Wing, Bangalore South, organised “Pickle Power Play,” a vibrant pickleball tournament at Klutch, JC Road, on February 14, 2026. As many participants were new to the sport, practice sessions were conducted in advance to help members understand the game and build confidence.

The event commenced with the Navkar Mantra, followed by a welcome address by Chairperson Smt. Babita Raysoni. A total of 56 players participated, divided into four teams - Kitchen Crushers, Smash Queens, Power Divas and Net Ninjas. Adding a unique element, a pre-match quiz was conducted, with the highest-scoring team earning bonus points.

After league matches, quarterfinals and semifinals, Smash Queens and Net Ninjas advanced to the finals. The thrilling finale concluded with Net Ninjas emerging as overall champions. Winners and runners-up were felicitated with trophies and cash prizes.

The tournament, supported by Tenth House Brand as jersey sponsor and P91 as social media partner, Convener was Smt. Neelam Shand and Co-convener Smt. Neetu Gulechha. Chief Secretary Smt. Nidhi Palrecha hosted the inauguration. The event celebrated sportsmanship, unity, and women’s empowerment, showcasing the growing enthusiasm for pickleball among JITO women.

The success of “Pickle Power Play” highlights JITO's commitment to promoting women's sports and fostering community engagement. It provided a platform for women to showcase their athletic talents, build camaraderie, and inspire others to embrace an active lifestyle.
