On 8 February 2026, JITO Belagavi, under the Environment & Sustainability vertical, organized a one-day farmer awareness program on organic farming methods at Dhadoti Farms, near Asoga, Taluka Khanapur.

For this event, JITO Belagavi members, along with their family members, participated and visited the farms. They visited the sugarcane fields and learned about sugarcane cultivation, as well as various other plants during the farm tour.

As part of the program, a plantation drive was conducted with the support of the members present, and several trees were planted.

Since the farm is located on the bank of the Malaprabha River, all members enjoyed a boat ride, and kayaking was also arranged.

Event Convenor Shri Deepak Dhadoti and Event Co-Convenor Shri Dinesh Dhadoti made all the arrangements, and a delicious traditional Lunch was served to celebrate the Sankranti festival.

All the members appreciated the efforts of the Dhadoti brothers and thoroughly enjoyed the day’s outing.
