JYG - GULLY CRICKET

Gully cricket, the ultimate test of street smarts and batting bravado, took center stage at JYG Season 4! JITO Youth Wing (JYW) Bengaluru South successfully hosted JYG Season 4: Gully Cricket, a grand indoor cricket tournament, electrifying the Palace Grounds with energy and excitement. The tournament was held at Princess Shrine, Gate 9, Palace Grounds on 1st February 2026. The event marked the opening match of the 5-month-long sporting championship, featuring 12 teams competing across 10 sports. The sponsors included main sponsor Rasa Silver Stories, Co-sponsor Arihant Group of Institutions, League Sponsor Klutch Arena, Powered by Krya, Jersey Sponsor EIMR, Trophy Sponsor Me Interiors, and Media Sponsor Nikunj Jain.

The tournament started with a navkar mantra, followed by the lighting of a lamp by JITO dignitaries, JLW & JYW managing committee members and conveners. JYW Bangalore South Shri Chairman Mehul Srisrimal welcomed players to the 4th edition of JITO Youth Games and said that JYG started with 250 participants in the 1st edition; now, in the 4th edition, it has grown to 850+ participants. JYG is not just a sporting event; it is also a networking event where business opportunities lead to collaboration.

The conveners, Shri Kunal Makana, Ms. Riddhi Gandhi and Shri Taksh Nahar, successfully executed the event, engaging youth members and setting the stage for the next moves in the championship. The tournament witnessed overwhelming participation, with over 850 youth members competing in 150+ matches across 15 arenas, setting a new benchmark for community sports. The unique "Tri-Arena Challenge" format tested teams' adaptability, precision, and endurance, with three distinct pitch styles - The Living Room, The Aiming Zone, and The Survivor.

The winners of the tournament were Team Aabushan, led by Shri Rishab, Shri Bhavin and Shri Abhay, who emerged victorious, while Team Aurae, led by Shri Prajwal and Shri Naman Girya, secured the runner-up position.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including JITO Apex Secretary Shri Sripal Bachawat, JITO Bengaluru South Joint Secretary Shri Pratik Gandhi, JATF KKG Zone Chief Secretary Shri Mahesh Nahar, KKG Zone JYW Co-convener Shri Nilesh Kuhad, JLW Bangalore South Chairperson Smt. Babita Raysoni, Chief Secretary Smt. Nidhi Palrecha, Joint Secretary Smt. Sakshi Nahar, JYW Chief Secretary Shri Rishab Chopra, Treasurer Shri Yash Jain, managing committee members Ms. Shefali Golecha, Shri Rajyash, Ms. Harsha Jain, Shri Kanish Jain, Ms. Riddhi Jain, Ms. Labdhi Jain, Shri Shashank Jain, Ms. Roshni Jain, Ms. Ridhi Mehta, Shri Shubham Jain, Shri Krish Mehta, Shri Vardhaman, Ms. Reeth, Shri Kunal Rathod and JYW Bangalore South past chairman Shri Pinkesh Mehta and other dignitaries from JITO Youth Wing and Ladies Wing.

JYG Season 4: Gully Cricket was a resounding success, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the youth. The event set a new benchmark for community sports, engaging over 850 participants and paving the way for a thrilling 5-month-long championship. With its unique format and overwhelming participation, JYG has once again proved to be a premier platform for youth to network, collaborate and excel in sports
