Under the JITO Health and Nutrition Initiative, JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore South organized a health and nutrition awareness session titled ‘Fit & Fab’ at Arihant College, Bengaluru on 17th January 2026. Around 180 members participated enthusiastically across two batches.
The program began with the Navkar Mantra, followed by the lighting of the lamp, setting a serene and positive tone. Smt. Babita Raysoni, Chairperson, JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore South, welcomed the members and spoke on the importance of women's health. She highlighted how, in today's fast-paced lifestyle, women often resort to crash dieting and meal skipping for quick results, which leads to temporary weight loss but long-term health issues. She emphasized that health is a lifelong journey, rooted in balanced nutrition, awareness, and consistency.
The session was conducted by Fitness and Nutrition Mentor Smt. Moksha Solanki, who was introduced by the Convener, Smt. Arpita Ladhani. Smt. Moksha Solanki effectively presented the concepts of “Fitness Without Fear” and “Nutrition Without Guilt”, focusing on five pillars of holistic health—adequate sleep, proper hydration for active metabolism, mindful eating, balanced diet, and regular exercise, stressing consistency over quick results. The session was supported by an engaging PowerPoint presentation, helping participants gain clarity and confidence toward long-term wellness.
Smt. Pinky Jain, KKG JITO Ladies Wing Convener, briefed the members about upcoming zonal and national programs. As part of the ongoing Fitness Fiesta, weekly prizes were distributed, and winners of the Treasure Hunt competition were also felicitated. The event was graced by Smt. Anita Pirgal (JIF & J-Point Apex Convener), Smt. Bindu Raisoni (Small Household Business Apex Convener), Smt. Chitra Mehta (JITO Hostel Co-Convener) and from JITO Youth Wing, Smt. Samyukta Jain (Vice Chairperson) and Smt. Diksha Sancheti (Joint Secretary) along with Smt. Sangeeta Parakh (Treasurer), Smt. Chandra Jain (Joint Secretary) and committee members Smt. Sangeeta Siyal, Smt. Rekha Kishor, Smt. Asmita Chouhan, Smt. Kavita Mutha and Smt. Pooja Jain.
Free samples of Roti Protein were distributed to all participants. The program was efficiently anchored by Chief Secretary Smt. Nidhi Palrecha and the vote of thanks was delivered by Co-Convener Smt. Angiekka Bafna. The event concluded with a collective resolve to adopt balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and a positive lifestyle.
