JITO Ladies Wing Bengaluru South, under the aegis of Art & Culture, successfully organized and concluded a three-day texture art workshop titled "Texture Soirée" at the JITO Office, Chamrajpet, starting from 5th January and concluded on 7th January 2026.
The workshop, conducted by renowned trainer Smt. Indu Dantewadia, saw enthusiastic participation from 25 women. The program commenced with the Navkar Mantra and lighting of the lamp, creating a serene start to the creative journey.
Vice Chairperson Smt. Lata Bohra, in her welcome address, highlighted that texture art is an easy-to-learn medium that encourages creativity, mental relaxation, and economic empowerment for women.
Trainer Smt. Indu Dantewadia appreciated the inspiring platform provided by JITO Ladies Wing Bengaluru South. Participants learned various texture art techniques, rediscovered their creativity and experienced art as a means of self-expression and confidence building.

Chairperson Smt. Babita Raysoni remarked that texture art teaches us that beauty lies in layers and imperfect expressions that reflect deep emotions. The event was further enriched by the presence of Past Chairperson Smt. Madhu Doshi and committee members.
The workshop received warm feedback, with participants describing it as a stress-buster and a fulfilling artistic experience. The workshop concluded on a positive and creative note, making Texture Soirée a memorable and empowering initiative by JITO Ladies Wing Bengaluru South.
