On January 19, JITO Belgaum held the "A Day Farmer" event under the CFE initiative, featuring esteemed organic farmer Mr. Santosh Kittur as our guest speaker. He delivered an insightful presentation on the "Benefits of Organic Farming," highlighting its positive impact on health and the environment, as well as discussing the health benefits of millets. The session's interactive format greatly enhanced the audience's engagement.

Our Chairman, Harshavardhan Inchal, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, while Event Convenor Pushpak Hanammannavar provided an overview of the event's objectives.

Following the talk, participants engaged in various activities, including discussions on farming techniques, the significance of desi cows, and pottery making. We also toured Hanammannavar Farms, where attendees explored diverse crops and plants, enriching their understanding of organic farming.

To add to the experience, Event Convenor Pushpak Hanammannavar treated everyone to a traditional North Karnataka meal served on banana leaves, which was met with much appreciation.

At the day's conclusion, our Chief Secretary Abhay Adimani delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of Pushpak Hanammannavar and extending gratitude to CFE Convenor Deepak Subhedar for their support in organizing such a remarkable event, featuring a varied array of activities.
