19th Foundation Day Celebration by JITO Belgaum.
On March 16, 2025, JITO Belgaum celebrated its 19th Foundation Day at Shagun Garden, Belagavi attended by guests, JITO Belgaum members, as well as JLW and JYW members. During the celebration, various awards were presented to achievers from the Jain community in their respective fields.
The event began with the chanting of the Navakar Maha Mantra and the lighting of the lamp by all distinguished guests present.
Chairman Harshavardhan Inchal welcomed the gathering and congratulated everyone on the 19th Foundation Day. He also highlighted JITO's achievements and growth over the past 19 years, thanks to various projects and verticals.
Event Convenor Vijaykumar Patil explained the purpose of the event and how such celebrations refresh members' memories and motivate them to contribute further.
Vikram Jain provided a brief introduction of the Chief Guest, Shri Mallinath Kusanal, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Karnataka State Forest Industries Corporation Ltd., Dandeli.
During the event, the JITO Belgaum Award Ceremony was held, where six different awards were presented to outstanding individuals in the following categories:
1) Best Lady Entrepreneur - 2025: Awarded to Mrs. Tina Jain from Belagavi.
2) Best Professional - 2025: Awarded to Er. Bhahubali Gadakari from Belagavi.
3) Best Social Service - 2025: Awarded to Adv. Raviraj Patil.
4) Best Educational Institution - 2025: Awarded to Shri Laxmisen Education Society, Raibag.
5) Best Business Entity - 2025: Awarded to Jina Special Steel Works Pvt. Ltd., Belagavi.
6) Best Farmer - 2025: Awarded to Shri Surendra Kusanale.
All award recipients were felicitated and presented with mementos. Following the awards, each recipient expressed their gratitude towards JITO Belgaum for the recognition.
Shri Santosh Porwal, Vice Chairman of KKG Zone, discussed upcoming projects for Apex and KKG and praised the efforts of JITO Belgaum.
Shri Pushpakh Hanammannavar, Director-In-Charge of Minority Affairs, spoke about the upcoming mega event Vishwa Navkar Diwas and elaborated on how government minority schemes can benefit individuals.
Chief Guest Shri Mallinath Kusanal commended JITO Belgaum for its contributions to society and congratulated all awardees on their achievements. He also emphasized how competitive exams and training can transform students’ lives.
During the event, two new members were inducted into JITO Belgaum, and the Ladies Wing conducted a Sadharmik Seva by donating two sewing machines.
All members of JITO Belgaum, including the Ladies Wing and Youth Wing, were present, with the Master of Ceremony handled by Ms. Prapti Patil.
A vote of thanks was proposed by Chief Secretary Abhay Adimani, who expressed gratitude to all members who contributed to the successful conduct of the 19th JITO Foundation Day.
The program concluded with a recitation of the National Anthem.
