12th Edition Of JITO Career Guidance Program conducted on 17th Jan 2025 by JITO Belgaum.
On January 17, 2025, JITO Belgaum proudly hosted the 12th edition of its flagship JITO Career Guidance Program at the KK Venugopal Auditorium in Hindwadi, Belagavi. This event aims to provide essential career guidance to students in the 9th and 10th standards.
We are thrilled to report that the event was a resounding success, with over 900 students in attendance, engaging with three expert speakers from various fields.
The program commenced with an inaugural ceremony, featuring the chanting of the Navakar Maha Mantra. Our Chairman, Harshavardhan Inchal, warmly welcomed the gathering, followed by Event Convenor Ashish Magadum, who outlined the event's objectives. Our chief guest, Hon. Smt. Leelavati Hiremath, DDPI Belgaum, GOK, emphasized to the students the importance of this golden opportunity to shape and plan their careers. She highlighted the significance of choosing the right career path for achieving success in life. On behalf of JITO Belgaum, we honored Mrs. Leelavati, who appreciated our efforts in organizing such impactful events.
The first speaker, Mr. Vinod Deshpande, addressed the topic "Career Roadmap after SSLC," providing insights into various educational streams available after SSLC and PUC. He guided the students on selecting the right courses, supported by an informative PowerPoint presentation.
The second speaker, the renowned management professor, Mrs. Poornima Charantimath, delivered a talk on "Master Your Minutes, Conquer Your Goals." In her session, she stressed the importance of effective time management and goal-setting to achieve success.
The third speaker, Lt. Col. Johny P.K. (Retd.), discussed "Career Opportunities in Defence," including information about the Agniveer program and pathways such as the NDA.
To add a touch of humor, we featured Mr. Vadiraj Babaladi, a stand-up comedian, who entertained and inspired the students with his unique presentation titled "Spoortiya Nage."
Overall, this event was very well received by the students, marking a unique and valuable experience for all involved.
