JITO Bangalore North Ladies Wing organized "Zaika" competition

JITO Bangalore North Ladies Wing organized "Zaika" competition based on food under National Scheme Health and Nutrition under Center for Excellence. This competition was organized for women members in the office located in Rajaji Nagar, which was named "Zaika - The Box of Flavors". The competition started with Navkar Mahamantra.

In the program, JITO North President Shri. Vimal Ji Kataria and Ladies Wing Convener Shri. Nemichand Ji Jain congratulated the team for the event and the contestants participating in the competition. The competition started at 9:30 am, in which about 20 women members presented a series of handmade delicious dishes. The competition was based on the taste, quality, presentation and cleanliness of three types of dishes (liquid, solid).

Judge Shri. Abhimanyu Sinha from Hyatt Centric said that such competitions bring to light extinct cuisines and promote culinary talent. He also said that it is a matter of pride that women have come out of the four walls and are showcasing their amazing art.

In the second session "Health and Taste", Certified Nutritionist Nimisha Lodha highlighted the importance of healthy eating and nutritious recipes. She said that Nutri Shakti and nutritious recipes help fight both malnutrition and overweight. Talking about fitness, she said that eating seasonal food, taking plenty of protein, drinking plenty of water and getting 8 hours of sleep are essential.

The winners of the competition were announced by the judges. Smt. Sheetal Bafna got the first place, Smt. Kejal Chhajed got the second place and Smt. Sarita Hirawat got the third place. The winners were awarded prizes and cash by Phoolchand ji, Vimal ji, Suraj ji and Deepti ji of the sponsor "Bergner Impex India Pvt. Ltd."

JITO Bangalore North General Secretary Shri. Vijay G. Singhvi congratulated the winners of the competition and said that this is a great opportunity to enhance the versatility of women and reach new heights of success.

JITO Ladies Wing Apex Shramana Arogyaam Convener Smt. Sunita Gandhi, Household Model Convener Smt. Bindu Raisoni, JLW Bangalore South President Smt. Babita Raisoni, JLW Bangalore North Mentor Smt. Sarita G. Khivesara, Vice President Smt. Suman Singhvi, Smt. Suman Vedmutha and other members were also present in the program.

Convenor Smt. Lekha Gandhi and Co-Convenor Smt. Lata Navalakha introduced the judges. Co-Secretary Smt. Suman Ranka conducted the event and Minister Smt. Raksha Chajjed expressed gratitude.
