JITO Bangalore South Youth Wing Wins Overall Champion Trophy of Ball-A-Thon 2.0 at PUNE
JITO Youth Pune Chapter, along with Youth Apex and ROM Zone, successfully organized a 3-day sporting tournament for Jain youth across the country, aged between 18 and 36. The event, sponsored by Indus Capital, took place from May 30th to June 1st, 2025, at Flame University, Pune. The JITO Bangalore South team was sponsored by C B Bhandari Jain College, Bangalore.
The tournament commenced on May 30th morning with a formal inauguration ceremony, followed by a march past. Shri Mehul Srisrimal Chairman JITO Bangalore South Youth Wing led the 86-member strong sport contingent team, accompanied by Chief Secretary Shri Rishab Chopra, Treasurer Shri Yash Jain, Joint Secretary Ms. Avadhi Chouhan, Sports Convenor Shri Kanish Balar and MC members Shri Shubham Jain, Ms. Shefali Golecha, Shri Vardhaman, Ms. Roshni Jain, Shri Shashank Khanted, Shri Taksh Jain and Shri Krish Mehta.
A total of 40 teams from 45 JITO chapters across India participated in 15 different competitive sports, including Turf Cricket, Turf Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Ladies Turf Cricket, Girls Throwball, Badminton, Snooker, Carrom, Chess, 100m dash, 400m dash, and swimming. Nearly 1200 participants thronged the university campus for a non-stop sporting festival that ran from 9 am to 10 pm on the first two days and until 4 pm on the final day.
The JITO Bangalore South squad, which participated in 11 sports after multiple practice sessions, achieved significant success. The following participants and teams emerged victorious: Volleyball: Runners-up, Basketball: Runners-up, Girls Throwball: Runners-up, Badminton Singles (Women): Winners – Ms. Aanchal Jain, Badminton Singles (Women): Runners-up – Ms. Sahana BA, Badminton Doubles (Women): Winners – Ms. Aanchal Jain & Sahana BA, Badminton Singles (Men): Winners – Shri Aditya Varma, Badminton Doubles (Men): Winners – Shri Aditya Varma & Shri Maish Varma, Chess: Runners-up – Shri Shabdik Varma, Snooker: Runners-up – Shri Durlabh Sisodiya, Aquatics (boys): Runners-up – Shri Vardhaman, Aquatics (girls): Runners-up – Ms. Piya Jain, 100 meters Running Race: Bronze Medal – Ms. Sahana B A, Golden Boot (Football): Shri Naksh Jain, MVP (Girls Throwball): Ms. Divya Anchaliya, and Player of the Series (Girls Turf Cricket): Ms. Esha Bhansali. Their dedication helped JITO Bangalore South win the overall champion trophy. With this win, it successfully defended the overall Champions Trophy, which it won in the 1st edition of Ball-A-Thon.

All 86 members put in tremendous effort and were managed exceptionally by Sports Convenor Shri Kanish Balar, who worked tirelessly for weeks to build a strong team for the All India Competition. Their efforts paid off when the organizing team, led by Apex Sports Secretary Shri Deepak Jain and JITO Youth Apex Chief Secretary Shri Nikunj Oswal, announced that JITO Bangalore South was the overall champion at Ball-o-Thon 2.0 2025. Vicky Oswal Chairman JITO Sports gave away winner prize award and Trophy.
In his acceptance speech, Shri Mehul Srisrimal, JYW Bangalore South Chairman and Shri Rishab Chopra Chief Secretary thanked the organizers for their outstanding efforts in hosting an event of such magnitude and dedicated this victory to all the passionate athletes of Bangalore.
