JITO Bangalore South Youth Wing organized the highly anticipated "Back to School" event at the Sports Authority of India Grounds, Bangalore. The event saw overwhelming participation from over 450 members from 12 teams, who competed in various athletic and team sports, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
The main sponsor for the event was Svamitva, with co-sponsor EIMR, Jersey Partner PTC Group, and Trophy Partner Nikitha Lunkad. With over 450 participants from 12 different teams competing to win laurels for their teams, the event featured four zones: athletic activities like 100m run, relay, 1km country run, and games like lemon and spoon, sack race, Sudoku, and magic puzzle; team sports like Volleyball, Basketball, Throwball, Kho Kho, Lagori, and Badminton; and the ultimate BTS Marathon, which tested the teams' endurance, stamina, and unity.
The program started with the invocation of the Navkar Mahamantra. Emcee Avadhi welcomed the dignitaries and members present at the event, while Kunal Makana oversaw the entire flow of the event. Mehul Srisrimal, JITO Youth Chairman, encouraged all participants to take advantage of JITO YOUTH programs. Chief Secretary Rishabh Chopra explained the roadmap for the next two years and the format of the tournament.
Project Chairmen Rajyash, Kanish, and Riddhi encouraged teams, noting that this was the most uniquely held Back to School event to date. Rajyash also thanked all the various stakeholders of the tournament and appreciated the work of every individual who contributed to the project since its inception in January 2025.
JITO Bangalore South Chairman Ranjeet Solanki emphasized that youth are the future of the country and will lead in bringing innovation and changes in business. He also highlighted the importance of networking among members and spoke about the safety of people and the Jain helpline number.
Manish Kothari, JITO Youth Apex Secretary, praised the event's name, saying it reminded him of his school days. He emphasized that everyone should retain their inner child. Padma Bafna briefed members about the upcoming Mega Sports event, Ball-o-thon 2.0, in Pune, where all Youth chapters can showcase their talent in sports.
Vijay Mehta, Director of Svamitva, spoke about how the event provides a platform for many youth to bond, socialize, and showcase their talents. This was followed by a grand entry of 12 teams namely ANK UNITED Komal Bhandari, BCT Warriors Poonam Bohra, FINVIC FIGHTERS Pratik Gandhi, FABIO Gaurav Gulecha, FATEH TITANS Harshit Bohra, KUSHAL’S BACKBENCHERS Krish & Kritesh Gulecha, MINAXI LIONS Akshay Chandaliya, OIB Gaurav Jain and Chirayu jain, STENCIL Tanmay Lunia, TDoM Punit Kohari, DP Vultures Chirag and Rithik , Vandan Jewel Squad Nitin Mandoth and a synchronized march past.
The teams battled in various leagues of the Mega Sports Day, showcasing their wit, talent, and multiple skill sets. The overall winners were OIB, followed by 1st Runner Up – KUSHAL’S BACKBENCHERS, 2nd Runner Up – FABIO.
A grand awards ceremony recognized top performers of the entire season, and medals were awarded to the winning participants in the respective sports activities. The MVP Male award went to Akshay Talesra from OIB, and the MVP Female award went to Eva Modi from BCT Warriors. The Best Team Entry award was given to Fabio.
The team was led by the Convenors Rajyash Jain, Riddhi Mandoth, and Kanish Balar. They were supported by the Managing Committee members, including Darshita, Harsha, Ridhi Mehta, Labdhi Ostwal, Reeth Ostwal, Roshni, Shashank, Shubham Lunkad, Taksh, Vardhaman, Krish, and Shefali Gulecha. Other working committee members included Maanvi, Jeenal, Riddhi Gandhi, Ujjwal, and Yash.
