Financial Literacy & Cyber Security

JITO Ladies Wing Bangalore North organised a special session on Financial Literacy and Cyber Security

 

On the occasion of International Women's Day, JITO Ladies Wing under JITO Bangalore North Chapter organised "Financial Literacy" and "Cyber Wise Women Rise" sessions under the leadership of Chairman Smt. Lakshmi Bafna. In this program held at Adarsh College, Chamrajpet, Chief Guest and Speaker Shri. Suman Pirgal inspired women to become empowered through financial independence and digital literacy. He emphasised the importance of financial decision making, budget management, investment and credit management. Cyber security professional Shri. Pradeep Singh informed about various measures like password protection, digital signature and data protection to prevent the rapidly increasing cyber-crimes.

 

Chief Secretary Smt. Raksha Chajjed started the program with Navkar Mantra. Chairman Smt. Lakshmi Bafna, Convener Shri. Nemichand Dalal and Smt. Bindu Raisoni wished Happy Women's Day. Convener Smt. Madhu Kataria stressed the need to increase awareness about cyber-crimes. On this occasion, a special play dedicated to Nari Shakti was also staged. To promote financial empowerment, women were given the opportunity to display and sell their products under "Sadharmik Seva", which led to enthusiastic purchases.

 

In this event, Jito Ladies Wing's mentor Smt. Sarita Khivesara, treasurer Smt. Tanuja Mehta, Jt. Secretary Smt. Meena Badera, Smt. Suman Ranka and more than 150 members were present. Financial Literacy coordinator L Smt. ekha Gandhi, co-coordinator Smt. Priya Bhandari and Smt. Rinku Bafna took care of the arrangements. In the end, Chief Secretary Smt. Raksha Chajjed gave information about the upcoming programs and thanked everyone.
